NY Times Skips Facts to Claim New Indictments Make Trump ‘Hoax Claim Harder to Sell’

In the wake of the Friday indictments of Russians by special counsel Robert Mueller, several media outlets have found a highly disingenuous way to continue attacking President Donald Trump as claiming collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign is a "hoax" or "fake news." Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensteini explicitly stated they presented no evidence of collusion in the indictment, but somehow, he made Trump's "hoax claim harder to sell."

Variety Skips Disney Worker H1B Visa Replacement in Democrat Fundraiser Story

Variety reported on Monday about Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger hosting a fundraiser next week for six vulnerable Democrat senators. Although the story did point out the irony of Disney pushing for the tax cuts that every one of the senators voted against, it skipped the more controversial detail that the senators would be receiving money from a fundraiser hosted by an executive who pushed for replacing American Disney employees with H1B visa foreign workers.

WashPost Reporter Suggests Stealth Hillary ‘2020 Comeback’

Shhhh! Hillary Clinton is stealthily running again in 2020. Spread it around very very quietly and be sure you only talk about the 2018 midterm elections.

Washington Post reporter Robert Costa is sending the not so subtle signal that Hillary Clinton will be back again in 2020. However, since she has to do it on the sly, Costa portrays her as semi-secretly helping in select 2018 midterm campaigns. His focus is on 2018 but he reveals enough to let us know that it is really all about 2020 in Hillary Clinton, a favorite GOP foil, plans discreet 2018 strategy:

Politico Magazine Hypes Joe Kennedy III for President

Democrats have an ancient holy ritual called Adoration of the Blessed Kennedy. Its latest iteration appears in the February 6 Politico Magazine in which their chief Washington correspondent, Edward-Isaac Dovere, breathlessly reports on the possibility of a new assumption of the presidency by a Kennedy... The wet-lipped Joe Kennedy III.

Russian Comedians Prank Adam Schiff with Fake Investigation Material

So just how desperate is the ranking Democrat of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, to find any materials proving collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia? Apparently desperate enough to buy into a wild prank pulled off by a pair of Russian comedians to the extent that he spent eight minutes with them on the phone in an attempt to finally realize his dream of proving collusion.

Variety Publishes Drool-Free Review of Joe Kennedy’s SOTU Response

Variety published a review of Joe Kennedy III's response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union address but very noticeable avoided any mention of the elephant drool in the room. It was especially strange since Variety is an entertainment magazine in which images are important. Yet despite the fact that even completely political publications such as Politico published articles about what appeared to be either drool or very glossy lip balm on Kennedy's mouth which took the viewers' attention away from what he was saying, Variety's review of his speech sounded like a dull policy wonkish PR release from Kennedy's congressional office that quoted extensively from a speech that few paid much attention to due to the disturbing visual images.

Irony Alert: Univision Owner to Give Employees $1000 Bonuses Due to Trump Tax Cuts

Oh irony of ironies. How beautiful you can be!

Less than a week after Univision smeared the Trump tax cuts, the owner of that broadcasting network, Haim Saban, has announced that he will be giving $1000 bonuses to his employees due to those same tax cuts. In fact, as we shall see, Saban very specifically credited those same tax cuts as the reason for the bonuses. To get a full appreciation of the irony involved let us first look at what a Univision anchor said about the Trump tax cuts as reported by the MRC Latino Staff on January 27 in Univision Smears Trump Tax Cuts:

Jake Tapper Presses Joe Manchin with Pelosi Video: Senator Calls It ‘Crazy Rhetoric’

“Let me just say what I said last night: that plan is a campaign to make America white again."

That was House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's deranged analysis of President Donald Trump's new DACA proposal. When Jake Tapper asked West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin (D) for his reaction to Pelosi's wild statement on today's State of the Union on CNN, he seemed taken aback by Manchin's answer. Take a look at the following video and see if you can measure Tapper's level of disappointment...or was it sadness?

WashPost-Boosted Website Supposedly Monitoring Russian Bots Reveals No Names

The Russian bots are coming! The Russian bots are coming! don't believe me? Well, the media is assuring us it must be true. How did they verify this? Why by citing a website called the "Alliance For Securing Democracy" which, along with being chock full of fancy graphs and charts that come in pink and pretty colors, assures us they have found 600 (not 601 or 599 but a nice round 600) Russian bots promoting #ReleaseTheMemo on Twitter which explains why it is trending in a big way. However, amidst all this hoopla just one not so little thing seems to be missing: names. Yes, after all that effort by AFSD they very conveniently fail to reveal the names of those insidious Boris and Natasha bots taking their orders from Fearless Leader.

Columnist Portrays Trump as Mind Dominating Body Snatcher

Something terrible has happened! Look! You fools! You're in danger! Can't you see? Trump is after you! Our wives, our children, everyone! You're next! You're next! YOU'RE NEXT!!!

Columnist Virginia Heffernan has sounded a warning in a Los Angeles Times column that a mind dominating Donald Trump is snatching the bodies of those who come into contact with him. She warns that people will go into a room with him but come out as a "hollow-eyed, body-snatched" programmed Trump robot sounding just like him. Yes, it is the Invasion of the Trump Body Snatcher!

Rolling Stone Claims #ReleaseTheMemo Popularity Due to Russian Bots

If you have been on Twitter recently then you know the red hot hashtag that is #ReleaseTheMemo. So why the popularity? Well, according to Rolling Stone, it is due in large part to the Russians. Yes, the Russians Are Coming to Twitter in the form of their bots to hype that hashtag. The subtitle of Rolling Stone's silly article by Bob Moser explains it: "Republicans claim a secret document reveals a Hillary Clinton plot "worse than Watergate" – and they're getting a big boost from Russian bots."

Samantha Power Discusses Her Hillary ‘Victory’ Party HBO Documentary

Schadenfreude, schadenfreude, oh beautiful, beautiful schadenfreude! You will soon be able to enjoy some great Election Night 2016 schadenfreude again in the form of HBO's documentary, The Final Year, which will soon be broadcast on that network. As you can see from the trailer below it appears to be mostly a big borefest of Obama administration hype about how wonderful and wise they were. However, its saving grace is that the HBO film crew was at a Hillary "victory" party hosted by former UN Ambassador Samantha Power to celebrate Hillary Clinton winning the election.

Politico Magazine Ridicules Recently Retired New York Times Publisher

If recently retired New York Times publisher, Arthur O. "Pinch" Sulzberger, expected to finally receive some respect now that he has turned the keys of his newspaper kingdom over to his son, A.G. Sulzberger, he would be quite disappointed after reading the January 14 Politico Magazine story. Senior Media Writer Jack Shafer ridicules Sulzberger and how he ran the Times during his quarter century reign there until he retired on January 1. The profile of just how out of his depth the elder Sulzberger was is brought to us as part of advice to Sulzberger the Younger in which Shafer suggests that he Sell the New York Times. Now.

Cindy Adams: Nobody Saw Melania Trump Crying on Election Night

Yet more evidence that Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury" book is a work of fiction comes to us by way of Cindy Adams, the long time columnist for the New York Post's Page Six. In contrast to Wolff's claim that Melania Trump cried on Election Night 2016, her Monday column states that she was with the Donald Trump family on Election Night and definitely did not see any such tears. In addition, nobody else Adams was with that night saw any Melania tears:

Washington Post Reporter Slaps Down Wolff’s False Claim About Him

Even many reporters from liberal publications are questioning the veracity of Michael Wolff's book of gossip, Fire and Fury. The latest such person who reveals just how laughable the vetting process of Wolff's book was is Mark Berman, a reporter at the Washington Post. Wolff placed Berman among others attending a breakfast at the Four Seasons restaurant with Ivanka Trump. It turns out that Berman was most definitely not there and he had a very good reason for not attending as he revealed to anchor Fredricka Whitfield on CNN Newsroom on Saturday.

Chuck Todd Overtalks Criticism of FBI Leadership by Congressman

Don "Dr. No! No!" Lemon of CNN shouts down contrary opinions he doesn't want to let his audience hear. Chuck Todd has a bit more subtle yet equally annoying method of accomplishing the stifling of inconvenient facts. He overtalks the interviewee. The more uncomfortable the fact is to liberal orthodoxy, the more desperately Todd performs his overtalk shtick.

An example of Todd overtalking in order to suppress facts he doesn't want his audience hear happened on Tuesday's Meet The Press Daily on MSNBC when he was interviewing Republican Congressman Mark Meadows. Because Meadows was presenting solid evidence of bias against President Donald Trump among the leadership of the FBI, Todd attempted to stamp out the discussion via overtalking Meadows as you can see in the video below. The more specific Meadows got with his evidence of bias at the top of the FBI, the more Todd tried to stop that flow of information via the overtalk interruptions.

Atlantic Magazine Editor Wants Trump’s Brain Examined By Committee

Because President Donald Trump has been spotted holding water bottles a few times with both hands, a committee should be formed to examine his brain in order to make recommendations about his removal from office via the 25th Amendment. Such is the fantasy of one James Hamblin, a senior editor at Atlantic magazine who, perhaps, should have his brain examined for proposing such a nutty idea.

Hamblin even analyzed Trump's speech patterns when he was interviewed years ago by Larry King and Oprah to make the determination for brain analysis by committee. This bizarre proposal comes as no real surprise since several months ago Hamblin proposed that we give up beef for beans in order to reduce climate change. Hamblin's latest idea is equally as full of flatulence as we shall see in Is Something Neurologically Wrong With Donald Trump?

London Review of Books Mocks MSM Embrace of Trump-Russia Collusion

Despite cracks beginning to emerge in the mainstream media such as the CNN legal analyst declaring last week that Trump is right about the FBI, they continue to cling for the most part to their beloved orthodoxy that there was collusion between Russia and the Donald Trump presidential campaign. It is this near religious belief that was mocked in the January 4 London Review of the Books. That leftist periodical is certainly no fan of Trump as a quick perusal of its pages would confirm but they are honest enough to admit that the MSM is absurd for swallowing the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory hook, line, and sinker as you can see in this article by Jackson Lears, What We Don’t Talk about When We Talk about Russian Hacking:

CNN Legal Analyst Follows Up Criticism of the FBI/DOJ Investigations with Column

CNN legal analyst Paul Callan on Wednesday questioned the objectivity of the FBI and the Department of Justice in their investigations of President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as you can see in the in the video below. It wouldn't have been too surprising if Callan had backtracked a bit and claimed that he had "misspoke" or something of that nature. Instead he doubled down in a December 29 column and went into greater detail as to why Trump is right about the FBI.

Vox Wonders if Trump-Russia Collusion Evidence Will Ever Appear

Andrew Prokop of Vox wrote a rather dispirited December 28 article about how no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion has yet appeared despite the mainstream media early this year loudly hyping the reality of such collusion. In fact, it seemed that finding evidence of such collusion was a mere formality since the MSM guaranteed it happened. The only problem is, despite nearly eight months of intense investigations by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team, no such evidence has been uncovered.

NBC News Column: ‘Not a Chance’ Trump Will Be Charged With Collusion

Is NBC News sending a not so subtle message to its viewers and, especially, to its correspondents on the true state of the much touted Trump-Russia collusion investigation? One has to ask this question because, remarkably, NBC News published a column by Loyola Law School professor Jessica Levinson that asks about the possibility of a collusion charge and answers it in Will President Trump be charged with collusion in 2018? Not a chance.

New York Times Promotes Trump-Obsessed New York State Attorney General

"Aye, aye! and I’ll chase him round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round the Norway Maelstrom, and round perdition’s flames before I give him up."

The New York Times published a glowing paean to the New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, today. The reason for such hype is that Schneiderman is completely obsessed with going after President Donald Trump to the extent that we have reached a new milestone. He has taken 100, count them, 100 legal or administrative actions against the Trump administration and those evil congressional Republicans. The ironic thing is that reporters Danny Hakim and William K. Rashbaum in their idolization of Schneiderman also revealed his obsession is so overboard that the real duties of that state's attorney general are pretty much of a sideshow in New York’s Attorney General in Battle With Trump.

Mika Brzezinski Apologizes for Criticizing Mark Halperin’s Accusers

Well, that didn't take long for her to get her mind right. It only took a few hours from the time Mika Brzezinski on Friday's Morning Joe criticized the sexual harassment accusers of Mark Halperin for not meeting with him personally to apologizing for it later that afternoon. Seeing your own career starting to slip away can be a powerful incentive for producing an apology.

‘Chappaquiddick’ Trailer Reveals Unsavory Ted Kennedy

"Moses had a temper but he never left a girl at the bottom of the Red Sea."

If anybody feared that the upcoming "Chappaquiddick" movie would be a whitewash of Ted Kennedy, the recently released trailer should disabuse them of that notion. Legal Insurrection describes the movie as the "portrait of a weasel." Kate Erbland of IndieWire reviewed it as a Compelling Teddy Kennedy Biopic That Pulls No Punches.

CNN Anticipates (Hopes?) Trump Firing Mueller

You better not fire Robert Mueller! Firing Mueller would cause a constitutional crises making it easier for impeachment to take place! ...So why haven't you fired Mueller yet? Watching the "outrage" over the possibility of a Robert Mueller firing in the mainstream media in general and on CNN in particular the past few days, one could be forgiven if the suspicion is aroused that the outrage is really frustration that such a convenient firing has not happened and probably will not happen.

Chris Cuomo Brags About Drinking ‘Like a Man’ in Contrast to Trump

Oh, Chris! That manly one handed grip you demonstrated on today's New Day on CNN to chug down a pretend drink is so impressive! It almost makes us forget that one of your nicknames is "Fredo." Chris Cuomo's demonstration of how he grips a glass before downing a drink came in reaction to a video clip of President Donald Trump using two hands to drink some water.

Net Neutrality Obsessed Reporter Arrested for Drunken Rampage

On the same day that net neutrality was repealed, a net neutrality obsessed reporter for the New York Daily News was arrested for going on a drunken rampage at a hospital. The New York Post published the details of sad saga yesterday in Daily News reporter arrested after drunken melee at hospital:

Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi Joins List of Accused Sex Harassers

The names being added to the list of accused sex harassers in the media and politics is increasing so fast and furious that it seems you only have to wait a minute until a new name is added. Since we already have Chris Matthews newly added to the list, we need only to wait a minute and..... FLASH! Just in. The latest name added to the sex harassers list is... MattTaibbi of the Rolling Stone.

Flashback: Chris Matthews Acted Like a Creep Toward Burnett, Boxer, Trump

With the latest sexual harassment news about MSNBC's Chris Matthews having to pay a $40,000 settlement to an assistant producer for Hardball in 1999, can anybody be really surprised? The reason is that Matthews over the years has a record of very strange behavior of a leering nature around women, much of it recorded for posterity. A couple of the more notable examples are presented below starting with the the uncomfortable 2007 incident in which Matthews asked Erin Burnett who was then the anchor of CNBC's Street Signs to lean in closer to the camera so he could get a better look at her.

Major Newspapers Avoid Strzok’s Damning ‘Insurance Policy’ Text

Hey boys and girls! Are you ready to play a fun new game called "Detect Liberal Bias?" Here's how it works... Just go online to any newspaper or magazine. In their seach engines, enter the term "Strzok." Do you see any search results? If so, then add "insurance" for "Strzok insurance." If you see no search results, congratulations! You have just detected strong liberal bias in the periodical you were searching.

PBS Suspends Tavis Smiley Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Okay, we have Charlie Rose...gone! Matt Lauer...gone! So who will be the next liberal celebrity to lose his career due to allegations of sexual misconduct?

Well, the answer appears to be Tavis Smiley. Today PBS announced it was suspending the talk show host for the same reason as many of his fellow celebrity liberals. Variety provides some of the details of his suspension in PBS Suspends ‘Tavis Smiley’ Following Sexual Misconduct Investigation:

Alabama: Politico Reveals Secret Funding of Democrat Candidate Doug Jones

One of the big questions surrounding the December 12 election in Alabama for the U.S. Senate seat is who is behind a mystery super PAC backing Democrat candidate Doug Jones against Republican Roy Moore. The Washington Post last Thursday claimed that there was no evidence of such funding by George Soros. However on the day before the election, Politico weighed in with a big story about the mystery super PAC, Highway 31, with much greater detail of the players involved.

Politico Plugs Bill, Hill, or Chelsea Clinton to Run for Senate from Arkansas

Mark down this date: December 3, 2017. Why? Because of all the ridiculous stories ever published in Politico, the one written by Bill Scher on that date could well rate as the most absurd of all. Scher proposes that if the U.S. Senate seat from Arkansas is open in 2018 due to Tom Cotton leaving the Senate that either Hillary, Bill, or Chelsea Clinton should run for that seat. Adding to the absurdity of that proposal is the fact that Scher details why none of the Clintons would have much of a chance winning that seat so why bother writing the article in the first place?

Trevor Noah Reveals Why Trump Calls Elizabeth Warren ‘Pocahontas’

On Tuesday night's Daily Show on Comedy Central, host Trevor Noah dared to go where most of the mainstream media fail to tread. Namely exactly why President Donald Trump calls Senator Elizabeth Warren by the name of "Pocahontas." He revealed that it was not so much an ethnic slur as a mockery of Warren's highly dubious claim to have American Indian ancestry.

Marvel Editor Assumed Japanese Identity to Advance Career

A person assumes a fake ethnic identity in order to advance their career. If you guessed this person to be Elizabeth Warren who passed herself off as an Indian in order to be hired as a minority on the Harvard faculty you would be right. However, you would also be right if you guessed the person to be the new Marvel comics editor-in-chief, C.B. Cebulski, who years ago pretended to be Japanese in order to advance his career every bit as much as Warren did.

Pigs Fly: HuffPo Publishes Almost Positive Story About Roy Moore

Do pigs fly? Shockingly, the extremely liberal Huffington Post on Sunday actually published a story involving Republican senate nominee Judge Roy Moore of Alabama that sounded almost positive...or at least not overtly hostile. The reason seems to be that the author, Hamilton Gregory, is a Vietnam veteran and his emphasis was on the practice of fragging during that war. Moore comes into the story mainly because he was under a fragging threat due to his insistence of enforcing discipline upon his troops, many of whom were drug abusers.

Twitter Reveals Some Funny Charlie Rose Jokes

As reported by Mediaite, CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert addressed sexual harassment charges against CBS morning news host Charlie Rose on Tuesday night. He called it an "abuse of power, and noted Rose gave unwanted shoulder rubs, something his employees referred to as “the crusty paw.” He quipped “And you may make three wishes upon the accursed paw, all of which are… to not get a back rub from Charlie Rose.” While the networks will quickly move on, people can still get their Charlie Rose humor fix simply by checking out Twitter where the jokes abound.
