With MOAB, U.S. Military Delivers Major Blow to Weak Afghan Islamic State

A combination of still images taken from a video released by the U.S. Department of Defense on April 14, 2017 shows (clockwise) the explosion of a MOAB, or 'mother of all bombs', when it struck the Achin district of the eastern province of Nangarhar, Afghanistan, bordering Pakistan where U.S. officials said a network of tunnels and caves was being used by militants linked to Islamic State. The massive U.S. military strike on a network of tunnels along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border used by the local Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) branch may have plugged the hole that allowed the flow of jihadi reinforcements from Pakistan into Afghanistan.

Mandy Patinkin Suggests ‘White Men’ in Govt Are ‘the Bad Guys’ Vs Muslims

Appearing as a guest on Friday's MTP Daily on MSNBC, liberal actor Mandy Patinkin of Showtime's Homeland series bizarrely seemed to claim that "white men" in both the government and the military are "the bad guys" in their dealings with Muslims. His hyperbolic suggestion came as he recalled that the latest season of the show has turned toward portraying Muslims more sympathetically in reaction to charges that the show had stoked anti-Muslim sentiments in previous seasons. Patinkin: "We have tried to be part of the cure, not part of the problem. A different story line where we're helping these people and a story line that shows in this case, in this year, in this season and -- that maybe it's the -- and it is white men in the government and the military establishment that are the bad guys, not the Muslim community."

China seems to be having second thoughts about indulging the deranged Kim regime in North Korea for so long, but it will not be easy for Beijing to downplay the amount of assistance it has given Pyongyang's nuclear missile program over the years.

Exclusive — Michigan Trump Voters Lose Faith: ‘It’s Gone So Far Now the Wrong Way’

President Trump's base appears to be growing concerned with the direction of his administration, against the backdrop of a number of drastic policy shifts from the campaign period as well as his first few weeks in office.

Sebastian Gorka Is Trump’s Baghdad Bob

This is the spin coming out of the White House:

“Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president, said on Friday morning that President Donald Trump’s populist supporters need not fear that the decision to strike a Syrian government target last week represents an embrace of neoconservatism.

“It’s not a modification,” Gorka said Friday on “The Laura Ingraham Show.” “Donald J. Trump hasn’t changed from November 7 to Good Friday, April 14,” he said. …

“It makes no sense — the idea that we are mired in something when we take an action that lasted 15 minutes,” Gorka said. To compare it with Iraq or Afghanistan “is just a salacious analogy … we are not mired in anything,” Gorka said. …”

Actually, it can be compared to Iraq.

George W. Bush launched an air strike on Iraq less than a month into his presidency. He had campaigned on a “humble foreign policy” which was forgotten after the Supreme Court made him president. W. also famously spent his political capital in 2001 on tax cuts.

Note: We remember W. for Iraq and comprehensive immigration reform. He didn’t get around to pushing hard for amnesty though until his second term. It is also worth noting that W. labeled Iran and North Korea part of the “Axis of Evil” and look where we are now.

‘Fact Checkers’ Overwhelmingly Target Right-Wing Pols and Pundits

Thursday at NewsBusters, I noted that all of the major-media "fact-checking" efforts recognized by Duke University's website lean left, and that almost all of them are quite decidedly on the left. That only begins to explain how the "fact-checkers" are distorting the news landscape.

North Korea Promises to Raze US Bases in South Korea Within a Few Minutes

North Korea promised to take countermeasures if the Trump administration chose reckless options including a preemptive strike on the regime.

North Korea is planning another nuclear test on Saturday.
The Korea Times reported:

North Korea’s vice foreign minister said Friday that his country was ready for another nuclear test and would take military countermeasures if the Donald Trump administration chose “reckless” options such as a pre-emptive strike.

Vice Minister Han Song-ryol told the Associated Press in Pyongyang that it was not North Korea but the U.S. and President Trump that were “making trouble,” warning, “We will go to war if they choose.”

Han was quoted as saying, “If the U.S. comes up with reckless military maneuvers, then we will confront it with the DPRK’s pre-emptive strike.

“We’ve got a powerful nuclear deterrent already in our hands, and we certainly will not keep our arms crossed in the face of a U.S. pre-emptive strike.”

The North Korean military also promised to raze US army bases in South Korea.

MAJOR LEAK: NSA Malware a Threat to Windows Users Everywhere

The ShadowBrokers have struck again and the latest release by the secret entity is its most significant release to date.

Back in August of 2016, then-unreleased documents by whistleblower Edward Snowden illustrated that a secretive group known as the ShadowBrokers were in possession of cyber weapons crafted by the NSA.

Fast-forward to the current day and you have an even more significant dump of information and once again it implicates the NSA.

ARS Technica reports:

Friday’s release—which came as much of the computing world was planning a long weekend to observe the Easter holiday—contains close to 300 megabytes of materials the leakers said were stolen from the NSA. The contents (a convenient overview is here) included compiled binaries for exploits that targeted vulnerabilities in a long line of Windows operating systems, including Windows 8 and Windows 2012. It also included a framework dubbed Fuzzbunch, a tool that resembles the Metasploit hacking framework that loads the binaries into targeted networks. Independent security experts who reviewed the contents said it was without question the most damaging Shadow Brokers release to date.

The Friday dump contains code that can be used to hack into banks, infect a computer remotely, and ultimately is a threat to anyone who doesn’t promptly update their software following an inevitable patch by Microsoft.

CNN’s Chalian: Trump Is Going ‘Mainstream,’ ‘Establishment’

Friday on CNN’s “Situation Room,” CNN political director David Chalian said President Donald Trump’s recent foreign policy maneuvers mean he is “going mainstream” and Washington “establishment.” Chalian said, “I don’t know if we’re seeing a Trump doctrine take shape. Certainly, Donald Trump is not portraying it as such. It’s a little bit more of these disparate and discrete incidents that have happened, whether the Syria attack or this bomb. In fact, you just said it was a tactical move that the theater commander was able to make, not necessarily the large—part of a strategic framework here, and I think—the only thing that I could sort of ascertain in observing what Donald Trump is doing right now is that he’s going mainstream—a little establishment, which is totally against the brand that he ran on.” “But he—I think it shows the power—and when I say establishment, I don’t mean just Republican establishment—Democrat—the Washington establishment—and it shows the power and the stranglehold that the establishment has,” he continued. “I know he tried to bust it up during the campaign and saying that he was going to be the irritant and destroy it, but when you don’t have ideological moorings—you’re not moored, that’s guided,

CBS Hails Liberal Town Hall Protesters as the ‘Voice of America’; Only 15 Seconds for Conservatives

Congress is in recess, so the liberal media were bound to do their best to continue to promote disruptive, far-left attendees of Republican town halls. On Friday, CBS Evening News gave those activists a boost, touting them as the “Voice of America.” Worse yet, the two-minute-and-14-second segment only allowed 15 seconds for one conservative calmly raising concerns with an elected Democrat.

VIDEO=> Muslim Mob in Pakistan Beats Student to Death Over Facebook Post

A violent Muslim mob beat two students to death over a post promoting the Ahmadi religion on Facebook.

Marshal Khan was beaten to death while university students filmed his death.

Mashal Khan had this Martin Luther King, Jr. quote on his Twitter page.

Here’s one of his blasphemous tweets.

Dharmaveer reported:
Students at Mardan University in Pakistan were brutally lynched by a mob of fellow students for “promoting Ahmadi religion on Facebook.” What a huge offense in the eyes of these Muslims. The students were sought, found, forced to recite verses from Kuran, and then killed. All the while, the poor victims denied that they were Ahmadis, however that had no effect on the Muslim mob.

Chinese Foreign Minister: Conflict Could Break Out Any Minute Over North Korea

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi warned that a conflict over North Korea could break out at any minute.

Yi added that there would be no winner in any war with North Korea.
The South China Morning Post reported:

A conflict over North Korea could break out “at any moment”, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi said on Friday, warning there would be “no winner” in any war as tensions soar with the US.

The sharp language came after US President Donald Trump said the North Korea problem “will be taken care of”, as speculation mounts that the reclusive state could be preparing another nuclear or missile test.

“Lately, tensions have risen … and one has the feeling that a conflict could break out at any moment,” Wang said. “If a war occurs, the result is a situation in which everybody loses and there can be no winner.”

Whichever side provoked a conflict “must assume the historic responsibility and pay the corresponding price,” he said in a joint press conference with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault.

Trump has sent a aircraft carrier-led strike group to the Korean peninsula to press his point, one of a series of signals that indicate his willingness to shake up foreign policy strategy.

Watch: Man Carrying American Flag Punches Berkeley Man Who Confronts Him for Carrying Flag

Kyle Chapman, known as “Based Stickman” on Facebook, was arrested in Berkeley, CA Monday after fighting with a group who confronted him for carrying an American flag around town. Chapman was walking around Berkeley wearing a baseball helmet and toting the flag while being filmed to promote a free-speech rally scheduled for Saturday. A group of youths approached Chapman, telling him and his cameraman to leave. One man got in Chapman’s face, challenging him to fight. Chapman then punched his aggressor in the face. As he swung, another member of the group hit Chapman with a skateboard. According to Chapman, the group then called the police on him. Chapman and the man he punched, 33-year-old Emmanuel Hall, were both detained. Hall allegedly brandished him with a large knife. They both received citations. House Freedom Caucus Member DeSantis: ‘We Can Pass Something, Relatively Soon’ on Obamacare

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” House Freedom Caucus Member Representative Ron DeSantis (R-FL) stated that there’s “definitely a path” to an Obamacare bill, and that if they can deliver lower premiums and more choice, “I absolutely think we can pass something, relatively soon.” DeSantis said, “I think there’s definitely a path, Bill. I mean, if you remember this March 23rd date, where this kind of blew up, that was not any deadline. That was a self-imposed deadline. And what happened was, the bill really wasn’t ready for primetime. You hadn’t developed a consensus. You set a date to vote on it without having the consensus. And so, what’s happened since then, is members are talking to each other, and really the administration, I think has done a good job. Vice President Pence has been exercising a lot of leadership to try to figure out how do we actually fulfill the promises we made to the American people, and for me the core thing that we have to do is deliver lower premiums and more choice on private insurance, because that is the reason why people dislike Obamacare because their premiums have gone up and their deductibles have
